报告主题
In Le Mans University (France) the research on laser ultrasonics is under progress for already about 20 years. Laser ultrasonics traditionally includes the generation and detection of the coherent acoustic waves by lasers for a variety of applications. In Le Mans University there are certain achievements in applied and fundamental laser ultrasonic research both in the ultrasonic frequency range(MHz, laser ultrasonics, LU) and in the hypersonic frequency range (GHz - sub-THz, picosecond laser ultrasonics, PLU) with the use of nanosecond and picosecond / femtosecond lasers, respectively. The applications of LU to non- destructive testing of the materials and of PLU to characterization of nanostructures and nanostructured materials will be presented.
